Yamegoku - I Will Quit Yakuza is a Japanese crime drama following Nagamitsu Bakushu, a enigmatic police officer who runs a hotline for yakuza members seeking to leave organized crime. When someone calls, Bakushu must locate them, shield them from their former gang, negotiate their exit, and secure legitimate employment. Despite her mission to rehabilitate these defectors, Bakushu maintains an adversarial stance toward them, dragging colleagues into her complicated work.
