So Close! Detective Oshii is a Japanese detective series following Takashi Oshii, a sharp investigator cursed by bad timing. Despite his keen reasoning abilities, criminals slip through his fingers while other detectives claim the glory. Transferred to Utobashi Police Station, Oshii catches a case involving the burned death of a record company CEO's youngest son. While his colleagues prepare to rule it accidental, Oshii suspects foul play.
