The Supersword Lady(1986)

The Supersword Lady follows Fan Li, an advisor determined to restore his homeland of Yue through military strength. He recruits Qing'er, a skilled swordmaster, to train soldiers and forge powerful weapons for battle. As Qing'er develops feelings for Fan Li, he remains devoted to Xi Shi, a woman from his past. When Yue finally defeats the rival state of Wu, Fan Li is reunited with Xi Shi. Qing'er, sacrificing her own heart, steps aside to let them be together. The soldiers honor her selflessness by naming their greatest weapon the Yue Maiden Sword, cementing Qing'er's legacy as a hero of the realm.
