Pure!: One Day Idol Director's Case Book is a Japanese series following Kurobara Junko, an unpopular idol with a jealous streak who hides behind a facade of innocence. When she volunteers for a traffic safety campaign to boost her public image, Junko stumbles upon a murder scene and becomes the prime suspect in a serial killer investigation. The killer, who calls himself "justice," has been targeting victims across the city. Forced to clear her name, Junko teams up with detective Todo Shusaku to hunt down the real murderer.
