Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger is a Japanese tokusatsu series following a crew of space pirates who arrive on Earth hunting the "Greatest Treasure in the Universe." To claim it, they must first obtain the Ultimate Powers of 34 legendary Super Sentai teams. Their quest collides with the Space Empire Zangyack, an invading force bent on conquering Earth after its previous armies fell to those same Sentai heroes decades earlier. Outmatched but resourceful, the pirates harness "pirate copies" of the Sentai powers, transforming into the Gokaigers to battle Zangyack's forces. The series blends high-stakes action with humor as these unlikely heroes navigate their mission while honoring the legacy of the franchises that came before them.
