Between Land and Sea is a period drama set on the Breton coast near Saint-Malo in the early 1900s. A newcomer arrives in this tight-knit maritime community and becomes captivated by a young laundress waiting for her fiancé to return from sea. When the ship comes back without him, she's left grieving. The stranger then resolves to join the sailors himself, hoping to prove his devotion through courage and hard work. The series explores themes of love, sacrifice, and belonging against the backdrop of a community bound by the sea's dangers and the bonds forged between those who face them.
