La fiera(1999)

La fiera is a Spanish drama centered on Catalina Chamorro, a headstrong woman who spurns every suitor who pursues her. Her refusal to marry creates an unexpected obstacle: her father Pedro has sworn an old promise that he won't allow his youngest daughter Blanca to wed until Catalina herself has married. Trapped by this family obligation, Catalina must navigate the tension between her independence and her father's antiquated traditions, while her sister's future hangs in the balance.
