Awake is a Serbian crime series following detective Sonja Kljun, who relocates to the quiet town of Subotica to investigate what appears to be a straightforward suicide. Her instincts tell her otherwise. As Sonja digs deeper, she uncovers a web of secrets tied to a mysterious organization—and to her own past. The investigation spirals into something far darker than anticipated. Complicating matters is Sonja's ten-year-old daughter, who shares her mother's uncanny intuition. The girl's disturbing dreams, which seem connected to Sonja's cases, begin manifesting in reality. As mother and daughter's supernatural abilities intertwine with the investigation, buried truths surface that threaten to upend everything they know.
