Black Saddle(1959)

Black Saddle is an American Western series that aired 44 episodes on ABC from January 1959 to May 1960. Peter Breck stars as Clay Culhane, a lawyer navigating frontier justice in the Old West. The half-hour show was produced by Dick Powell's Four Star Television, with the original pilot appearing on CBS's Dick Powell's Zane Grey Theater. In syndication, Black Saddle was packaged alongside three companion Westerns—Law of the Plainsman, Johnny Ringo, and Sam Peckinpah's The Westerner—under the collective title The Westerners, with new introductions by Keenan Wynn. The series captures the tension between law and order in a lawless landscape, blending courtroom drama with frontier action.
