Breakwater(2022)

Breakwater is a series set in the dangerous coastal slums beyond the Los Angeles Seawall, where residents desperately chase visa lottery tickets to escape into safer zones. Mai, a resourceful 20-year-old fixer born and raised in the Breakwater itself, finds herself in a race against time as a hurricane bears down on the region. With survival on the line, she must complete a critical mission while the storm closes in. The show explores themes of desperation, resilience, and the lengths people will go to secure a better life in a fractured society.
