Comfort Zone(2020)

Comfort Zone is a Russian comedy series following Yaroslav Kostrov, a brash transport company owner from Murmansk who accidentally lands in a Norwegian prison. The facility proves surprisingly luxurious—more resort than jail, complete with amenities and internet access. Stranded behind bars, Kostrov must manage his crumbling life through a Skype connection: fending off mafia threats, keeping his business afloat, salvaging his marriage, and parenting children who reject remote discipline. The series explores the absurd collision between Kostrov's rough Russian pragmatism and Scandinavia's civilized prison system, as he schemes to escape while his world unravels on the other side of a webcam.
