Daylight(2023)

Daylight is a Turkish romantic drama about sacrifice and self-discovery. Gece puts her ambitions on hold when she relocates to the coastal town of Foça to care for her sister with special needs. There she meets Özgür, a sailing instructor navigating his own responsibilities as caregiver to his brother with Asperger's Syndrome. As the two grow closer and Gece matures through their connection, her existing relationship with boyfriend Emir becomes increasingly strained. Caught between the comfort of her former life and the pull of genuine love, Gece faces an impossible choice. The series explores how caregiving shapes identity and the tension between duty and desire, set against the backdrop of Turkey's scenic Aegean coast.
