Elvira(2022)

Elvira is a Danish drama series following a woman working as a receptionist at a brothel run by her childhood friend Køster, a local policeman. When one of the sex workers vanishes, Elvira's curiosity compels her to investigate the disappearance, setting off a chain of events with serious repercussions. The series explores how a seemingly ordinary job masks darker currents in a small community, as Elvira's amateur sleuthing pulls her deeper into dangerous territory. Her investigation challenges her loyalties and forces uncomfortable truths to surface.
