Gangsta. is a dark anime series set in the crime-soaked city of Ergastulum, where two mercenaries known as "Benriya" operate in the shadows between law and organized crime. Worick and Nicolas are handymen willing to take any job—from police or mafia—for the right price. When they meet Alex, a former prostitute drawn to their world, she becomes entangled in their dangerous operations and begins uncovering the truth behind Nicolas' mysterious abilities. As the trio navigates Ergastulum's brutal underworld, they discover that survival means playing both sides of a deadly game where loyalty is currency and violence is the cost of doing business.
