Into the Wild(2022)

Into the Wild is a Chinese series about Li Bai, a man who grows up in the countryside with his friend Shihao before leaving to search for his estranged mother in the city. Discovering the truth was a lie, Li Bai builds a successful tutoring business with another friend, Yan Jiadong, and abandons his rural roots. When his career and family collapse, he returns to his hometown and unexpectedly becomes vice principal of the local school under Shihao's direction. Tasked with addressing real educational challenges, Li Bai reconnects with his community one student at a time, learning to balance teaching with genuine friendship. Through his work, he gradually embraces Shihao's core belief: that life itself is the greatest classroom. The series explores themes of redemption, rural education, and finding meaning beyond material success.
