Killer Coaster is a French comedy series set during summer 1998 at a seaside carnival in Palavas-les-Flots. When a mysterious accident occurs on the ghost train, Sandrine Laplace—a delusional contract worker convinced she's a CIA agent—launches her own reckless investigation. Bumbling but determined, Sandrine plunges into the chaotic world of the fair, where rival carnival operators clash over territory and turf. She reluctantly teams up with Carmen and Yvane, two showmen with clashing personalities, to uncover the truth. As cotton candy and bumper cars mask darker secrets, the group must navigate clan wars and carnival intrigue to determine whether murder lurks beneath the bright lights. The series blends absurdist humor with mystery as Sandrine's incompetence and overconfidence collide with genuine danger.
