Laredo(1965)

Laredo is an American Western series that aired on NBC from 1965 to 1967, following four Texas Rangers patrolling the Mexican border near Laredo, Texas. Neville Brand, William Smith, Peter Brown, and Philip Carey star as lawmen navigating frontier justice, smuggling operations, and border conflicts in this Universal Television production. The show's pilot episode, "We've Lost a Train," premiered as part of The Virginian before Laredo became its own series. The program's material was later repurposed: three first-season episodes were edited into the 1968 feature film Three Guns for Texas, and the pilot was released theatrically in 1969 as Backtrack. Laredo captures the tension and action of the Old West during a period when television Westerns dominated American screens.
