Liocracy(2001)

Liocracy is a Canadian comedy series that aired on The Comedy Network in 2001 and 2002. Hosted by Leslie Nielsen as the pompous Terrence Brynne McKennie, the show spoofs biographical documentary series like Biography and Life and Times. Each episode presents a mock profile of a fictional character loosely inspired by real-life celebrities, complete with the earnest tone and dramatic flair of genuine documentaries. Originally titled Liography, the series was renamed after A&E Network—producers of the original Biography—threatened legal action over copyright infringement.
