Mekong(2023)

Mekong is a historical adventure series following an American construction manager and a professor who uncover mysteries along the Mekong River while building a bridge between Thailand and Laos. Dave Shaun, a Vietnam War veteran, oversees the project as strange occurrences plague the site. Kimberly Baker, an academic studying the ancient Phuri tribe, arrives to investigate legends of a great Naga said to guard the land. As the two pursue their separate agendas, they become entangled in the search for missing soldiers lost decades earlier in the war. The series blends historical mystery with folklore, exploring how the past refuses to stay buried along one of Southeast Asia's most storied rivers.
