Never-Ending Audition(2023)

Never-Ending Audition is a series following young producer Rin Miyazono as she navigates a chaotic casting process for her film project, "Resident Ten Colors." Ten actresses arrive to audition for roles in a story about friendship among university students in a dormitory. Rin quickly realizes the talent pool is underwhelming, but the audition mysteriously resets, forcing her to repeat the process with the same struggling performers. As the cycle continues, Rin grapples with an impossible task: finding a way to complete her film despite the recurring loop of poor auditions. The series explores the tension between creative vision and practical constraints, blending comedy with the absurdist challenge of filmmaking when nothing goes as planned.
