O Mapa da Mina is a Brazilian series that follows a treasure hunt sparked by an unlikely secret. After a diamond heist in Uruguay, thief Ivo Simeone hides ten million dollars' worth of jewels and tattoos a map of their location on a young woman's body to remember where they are. Years later, when Ivo is released from prison, he's killed in a hit-and-run but manages to tell his son Rodrigo about the hidden fortune. Rodrigo sets out to find the woman bearing the map, only to discover she's now Elisa, a novice nun on the verge of taking perpetual vows in a convent. The series blends crime, mystery, and dark comedy as Rodrigo navigates the absurd challenge of retrieving the map from a woman who has devoted her life to the church.
