Outburst(1996)

Outburst is a Hong Kong crime series following Hoi, a former cop whose volatile temper ended his police career, now working as a head investigator for a security firm. His old partner Ching, known for his calm demeanor, remains his closest ally as they tackle complex murder cases together. Their partnership is tested when both men fall for the charming Sai, who ultimately chooses Ching. Hoi reconnects with his ex-girlfriend Man, but their reunion is cut short when she's murdered at her wedding.
