Road Rivals is a travel series following two contrasting personalities on an epic journey across Europe and the US. Russ Malkin, an experienced adventurer who travelled the world with Ewan McGregor on Long Way Down, teams up with Charley Speed, a luxury lifestyle contributor and former Britain's Next Top Model judge who avoids camping. Their opposing approaches to travel—one seeking rugged adventure, the other preferring comfort and style—create natural friction and comedy as they navigate unfamiliar territories together. The series captures the clash between their different philosophies, testing their friendship while exploring some of the continent's most compelling destinations. Road Rivals balances genuine travel discovery with the entertaining dynamic between two fundamentally different travellers forced to compromise.
