Robbery is a Turkish drama series that begins with tragedy. In 1998, a burglary turns fatal when Elif Çınar, wife of renowned economics professor Rauf Çınar, is stabbed by burglar Necip Talan. The crime shatters two families across different worlds. Zeynep Çınar loses her mother that night; Necip's son Akay loses his father and becomes a street orphan. Years later, Akay—now calling himself Kara—has become a vigilante thief, stealing from the wealthy to prevent others from suffering his fate. Zeynep returns to Istanbul after studying abroad, channeling her mother's passion for plants into documentary filmmaking. When Kara and Zeynep meet, neither knows the other's connection to that fateful night. Despite their opposing worlds, they fall in love. But when the truth about their shared past surfaces, their relationship faces an impossible test.
