Ryujin Mabuyer(2008)

Ryujin Mabuyer is a Japanese tokusatsu series following the adventures of Okinawa's legendary local hero. The first season ran from October to December 2008, with a second season airing two years later from October to December 2010. A spin-off series, Ryujin Mabuyer Gaiden So! Uchinā, aired 13 episodes between October 2009 and January 2010. The franchise expanded to film with Ryujin Mabuyer The Movie Nanatsu no Mabui, released in January 2012. The series blends practical effects and action as it draws on Okinawan cultural mythology and heroic storytelling.
