Saki is a sports anime following Miyanaga Saki, a first-year student at Kiyosumi High School who initially plays mahjong only to break even. When she encounters Haramura Nodoka, a national junior high champion with exceptional tactical skill, Saki's perspective shifts. Inspired by Nodoka's talent, she joins the school's mahjong club and discovers her own hidden potential. Alongside her teammates, Saki competes against elite opponents in high-stakes tournaments, gradually developing genuine passion for the game.
