Shockwave(2007)

Shockwave is an American documentary series that premiered on History in November 2007. Each episode reconstructs major disasters and incidents through video footage, photographs, 3-D renderings, and firsthand accounts from witnesses and participants. The series examines catastrophic events including the United Airlines Flight 232 crash, the USS Forrestal fire, the Killdozer rampage, the Mount Hood hiking tragedy, the Ramstein airshow disaster, and the PEPCON explosion. By combining archival material with survivor interviews, Shockwave reveals what actually happened during these headline-making moments. Typically featuring three to six stories per episode, the documentary uses immersive visual reconstruction to educate viewers about the causes and consequences of each event.
