Spice is a Japanese drama series set in a provincial cabaret club. Kitano Yuki works as personal driver to Sugimoto Natsuki, the club's top hostess. When Natsuki disappears without permission, Yuki confronts the manager—only to discover she's attending her mother's 49th-day memorial service. As Natsuki processes her grief and finds clarity, Yuki proposes an escape: they'll abandon their jobs, steal the manager's kitchen car, and leave town together. The series explores themes of loyalty, loss, and the possibility of reinvention, capturing quiet moments of connection between two people trapped in the margins of a small-city nightlife economy.
