The Color of The Room(2023)

The Color of the Room follows Ramiro, a young man with autism who finds comfort in routine, music, and the familiar surroundings of his bedroom. When his mother Aurora unexpectedly moves him into her best friend Elsa's house, Ramiro's carefully ordered world begins to unravel. Aurora refuses to explain her sudden decision, leaving Ramiro to navigate an unfamiliar space and the disruption of everything that grounds him. The film explores how a single act of upheaval forces both mother and son to confront difficult truths about care, independence, and what it means to belong somewhere.
