Dark Ride is a horror film about a killer who escapes from a mental institution a decade after murdering two girls and returns to the abandoned theme park attraction where he once hunted. His reappearance coincides with a group of college students on a road trip who discover the derelict park and decide to explore it. Unaware of the danger lurking within the decaying rides and attractions, the young travelers find themselves trapped in the killer's domain. As night falls, the predator begins to stalk his new prey through the shadowy corridors and mechanical horrors of Dark Ride. What started as a curious detour becomes a fight for survival as the students realize they've wandered into the territory of a seasoned murderer with nothing left to lose.
