Nomads(2010)
Nomads is a drama following two lives shaped by displacement and survival. Susan, a filmmaker, documents subway suicides in Mexico City while grappling with her own sense of purpose. Roberto, an undocumented immigrant, scrapes by cleaning windows in New York, carrying the weight of his precarious existence. When they meet, an unexpected connection forms. Through shared conversations and experiences, both begin to confront the isolation that defines their worlds—Susan's detachment from the stories she tells, Roberto's invisibility in a city that surrounds him. The film explores how two people on the margins of society find meaning and recognition in each other, even as the systems around them remain indifferent to their struggles.
