Isztambul(2012)

Isztambul is a Hungarian drama following Katalin Munk, a housewife whose marriage implodes when her husband János announces he's leaving her for a younger student. Devastated and unmoored, Katalin wanders Budapest's streets in her dressing gown, scissors in hand, spiraling through a series of misadventures. Her journey takes an unexpected turn when she ends up in Turkey, where an encounter with a local man named Halil awakens something in her—a chance to rebuild her life from scratch. Back home, her son Zoli embarks on a desperate search to find his mother, setting the stage for a collision between her newfound freedom and the family bonds she's left behind.
