Autumn of the Goslings(1975)

Autumn of the Goslings follows three newly minted graduates—a French teacher, a doctor, and an agricultural engineer—who arrive in the remote village of Viișoara, nearly 600 kilometers from Bucharest, for their first postings. Mariella, Ovidiu, and Geo have never met, yet fate has assigned them all to the same small community. As they navigate their new roles and unfamiliar surroundings, the three must learn to adapt to rural life while discovering unexpected connections with each other and the village itself. This Romanian drama captures the tension between ambition and belonging, following how young professionals forge their paths in a place far removed from the city they knew.
