The Odd Couple is a Japanese thriller following detective Seki, who pursues a serial killer across borders after the murderer escapes to Thailand. The killer targets a specific type of victim, and Seki's investigation becomes personal when his workmate falls prey to the crimes. In Bangkok, Seki meets Lily, a cabaret performer whose best friend was also murdered by the same killer. Bound by shared grief and a dangerous mission, the unlikely pair team up to hunt down the killer before he claims another victim.
