Inalé(2010)

Inalé is a Nigerian drama following the daughter of a powerful Idoma king as she awaits her lover's victory in a wrestling tournament that will secure their marriage. When a mysterious stranger arrives in the village, he disrupts centuries-old traditions and tests the bond between Inalé and Odeh. Set against the rich cultural backdrop of Idomaland, the film explores themes of love, honor, and cultural identity as the young couple navigates competing desires and community expectations. The stranger's presence forces both lovers to confront what they're willing to sacrifice for each other and their people.
