Thread of Lies is a Korean drama that unfolds after a young woman's shocking suicide. Her mother Hyeon-sook and older sister Man-ji are forced to relocate, but Man-ji refuses to accept the official story. As she investigates clues from school, she uncovers a disturbing truth: Cheon-ji's best friend Hwa-yeon played a darker role in the tragedy than anyone realized. What begins as a search for answers becomes a tense exploration of hidden betrayals and the destructive forces lurking beneath teenage friendships. The film examines how secrets can poison even the closest bonds, and the lengths people will go to conceal the truth.
