Strangler of the Swamp is a horror film set in a murky bayou where men are dying by strangulation. The locals believe an innocent ferryman, wrongly hanged years ago, has returned as a vengeful spirit to kill the male descendants of those responsible for his death. Maria, the ferryman's granddaughter, takes over the ferry service and falls in love with Chris Sanders, whose father was among the executioners. When the strangler captures Chris, Maria faces an impossible choice: sacrifice herself to save the man she loves. Caught between family curse and personal desire, the couple must confront the supernatural forces that haunt the swamp.
