The Taking of Beverly Hills is an action thriller set during a chemical spill that forces Beverly Hills residents to evacuate. A retiring football player discovers the disaster is a cover for an elaborate heist orchestrated by corrupt police officers intent on ransacking the city's wealth. When the mayor is assassinated by one of the conspirators, a disgraced cop who initially planned the robbery turns against his former colleagues.
