The House by the Lake is a thriller about a wealthy dentist whose weekend getaway turns into a fight for survival. Harry invites Diane, a former fashion model, to his isolated rural lakehouse. When Diane accidentally humiliates a gang of thugs on the road, the men become obsessed with revenge. Stranded at the remote property, Harry and Diane must defend themselves against increasingly violent pursuers. The film builds tension as the couple realizes they're trapped with no easy escape, forced to outwit their attackers in a deadly game of cat and mouse. What begins as a romantic retreat becomes a desperate struggle for survival in the wilderness.
