Bad Manners(1998)

Bad Manners is a comedy-drama about marital tension and social awkwardness. Academics Wes and Nancy invite Nancy's former lover Matt and his girlfriend Kim to their home for dinner. Matt, a musician, arrives with Kim, a computer specialist who collaborated on his scientific work. When Wes suspects Kim of stealing fifty dollars from him, the evening spirals into a minefield of mistrust, jealousy, and barely concealed resentment. What begins as an attempt at civilized hospitality unravels into uncomfortable confrontations that expose the fragility of their relationships and the petty grievances that simmer beneath polite surfaces.
