Legend of the Evil Lake(2003)

Legend of the Evil Lake is a dark fantasy film set in the Chilla empire, where an ancient evil spirit imprisoned for a thousand years breaks free from its watery tomb. The vengeful entity possesses Ja Woon-bi, wife of the powerful general Biharang, to exact revenge on the dynasty that destroyed its people. Biharang faces an impossible choice: destroy the spirit and lose his wife, or let it wreak havoc on the empire he's sworn to protect. Caught between duty and love, he must confront both the supernatural threat and his own moral limits. The film blends martial action with supernatural horror as personal tragedy collides with political upheaval, exploring the cost of power and the weight of impossible decisions.
