The House of Seven Corpses(1974)

The House of Seven Corpses is a horror film about a director shooting a movie inside a mansion where seven ritualistic murders occurred. Despite warnings from the house's caretaker to leave occult matters alone, the director pushes his cast to authentically recreate the dark ceremonies that once took place within its walls. The re-enactments go terribly wrong, awakening a vengeful ghoul from the adjacent cemetery. What follows is a brutal night of terror as the creature systematically hunts down the film crew, turning their production into a real-life nightmare. The film blends occult horror with a meta commentary on filmmaking ambition, as the director's obsession with authenticity becomes a death sentence for everyone around him.
