Please Don't Eat My Mother! is a horror-comedy film about a middle-aged man who purchases an unusual houseplant with an alluring voice. What begins as an eccentric pet quickly spirals into chaos when the plant develops an insatiable appetite that escalates from insects and frogs to dogs and eventually humans. As the carnivorous flora grows more dangerous and demanding, the man finds himself trapped between protecting his loved ones and feeding his increasingly monstrous creation. The film blends dark humor with genuine scares, playing on the absurdity of domesticating something fundamentally predatory. It's a tongue-in-cheek take on pet ownership gone terribly wrong, where the line between companion and threat dissolves with each meal the plant consumes.
