Demetrius and the Gladiators is a biblical epic that continues the story of Christ's robe following the events of The Robe. After Marcellus's death, the sacred garment passes to Peter, but the mad emperor Caligula becomes obsessed with claiming it for himself, believing it holds divine power. Demetrius, Marcellus's former slave, takes up the mission to protect the robe from the emperor's grasp. His determination catches the attention of Messalina, the seductive wife of Claudius, who uses her influence to entangle him in a dangerous game. Forced into the arena as a gladiator, Demetrius must battle both his enemies and his wavering faith as he fights for survival and redemption in first-century Rome.
