Tuftland follows Irina, a stubborn textile student who takes a summer job in the remote Finnish village of Kyrsyä, hoping to escape her troubles. As she settles into village life, the seemingly eccentric locals gradually expose a darker, more sinister side. What begins as an opportunity for self-discovery transforms into something far more unsettling. The film blends comedy with creeping dread, exploring themes of isolation and the clash between outsider and community. Irina's journey becomes a tense examination of how well we truly know the places and people we encounter, and what happens when small-town charm masks something altogether more dangerous.
