Soupe au lait(1959)

Soupe au lait is a French comedy about Roland Lasserre, a shy young man with a volatile temper that earned him his nickname. When Francine announces her engagement to a wealthy record manufacturer, Roland declares his love, but she reluctantly accepts her parents' wishes. A car accident near Paris changes everything. Roland's rage ignites when a hit-and-run driver strikes their vehicle, sending them into a ditch fifty kilometers from the city. Stranded by torrential rain with no transport, they take shelter at a welcoming inn. To preserve their honor, Roland and Francine agree to marry. Their plans unravel when Francine's neglected fiancé, René, arrives and provokes Roland into a scandal at the ceremony itself.
