Cold Forest(1982)

Cold Forest is a Vietnamese film about three students who venture into the Truong Son mountains to retrieve their dead professor's remains and research documents. The scientist had been studying toxins from American bombing campaigns in Southern Vietnam when he died, and his students are determined to bring both him and his findings back to the North. As they journey through the remote forest, the trio begins experiencing the same mysterious symptoms that killed their mentor. The film blends historical tragedy with survival horror, tracing how the lingering effects of war continue to claim lives long after the fighting ends.
