Princess of the Sun(2007)

Princess of the Sun is an ancient Egyptian adventure film set during Akhenaten's radical monotheistic reign. Fourteen-year-old Princess Akhesa, restless and defiant, refuses the confines of palace life and sets out to discover why her mother, Queen Nefertiti, has been exiled to the island of Elephantine. Joined by her half-brother Prince Tutankhaten, she flees downriver into the desert, determined to find answers. Their journey becomes perilous as they face the mercenary Zannanza and priests of Amun Ra, who plot to overthrow the pharaoh for abandoning their god. Armed with little more than courage and innocence, the two teenagers navigate treacherous terrain and political intrigue, uncovering an extraordinary destiny along the way.
