The J Team follows JoJo, a spirited young dancer whose world shifts when her beloved coach retires and is replaced by the no-nonsense Poppy, who despises sparkle and glitter. Determined to compete in an upcoming dance competition, JoJo and her close friends, The Rubies, struggle to adapt to Poppy's strict new rules. When JoJo refuses to abandon her signature sparkly style and bows, she's expelled from the troupe.
