Ranam(2006)

Ranam is a Telugu action film starring Gopichand as Chinna, a young man who falls for Maheswari, the sister of a ruthless Hyderabad mafia boss. When Chinna's chance encounter with the gang draws him into their world, he must outwit the don through cunning and strategy to win Maheswari's freedom and heart. Directed by choreographer-turned-filmmaker Amma Rajasekhar, the film became a major box-office success and marked Gopichand's third consecutive hit. The story hinges on psychological warfare and romance as Chinna navigates the dangerous underworld to protect the woman he loves. Ranam was later adapted across Indian cinema, dubbed into Tamil as Stalin and remade in Odia as Mahanayak.
